esCarpade 2026 - Day 7 - Tenterfield to Jiggi Hall to Tweed Heads

The final day of esCarpade 2026 had arrived... the boys were up bright and early to find coffee and head to breakfast!  Bluey was looking pretty dirty, but otherwise unharmed!

Damian returned the room key to the super-safe room key return basket!

Heading to breakfast...

The boys met Ralph, one of the Rotary volunteers providing breakfast, and father of a lady that Damian worked with a while back.

Bluey has a nice, splotchy pattern caused by the mud splatter!

Breakfast was at the Tenterfield Railway Museum.

Lee and Ralph with Damo... Lee and Ralph are the parents of a lady Damo worked with a while back!

Mechanics checking out Ivan's car...

Jordan enjoying some fruit!

Heading out onto the tracks!

Speed camera 100m past instruction 4!

Stopped at the fun stop!

Jordan throwing rings at a bloke with a chicken on his head... because why wouldn't he?

Back on the road...

Past Giddy Up who was having a bit of a look at the engine!

Thumbs up all round!

Jordie feeding his face while it was selfie time!

OV3 guiding the boys to the parking at Jiggi Hall...  Getting jiggy with it!!  Even though it's actually pronounced jig-eye, but you never let the truth get in the way of a good story!

One more section to go, and Damian will have completed his fifteenth esCarpade, and the first ever where he hasn't missed any sections of driving!  Can they do it?

Damian with Nigel and Cathy aka Mickey and Minnie... former esCarpade entrants who stopped by to say hi during lunch as it was a short drive from their house!

Mad Cows discovered that their rooftop tent had become home to a whole heap of peanuts!

Launching them at (and onto) Bluey!  Damo just wanted a photo-opportunity, not a hailing of peanuts!

After lunch, Jordan would be driving for the final section of the 2026 esCarpade!

Nigel and Cathy's esCarpade car...

A non-entrant chose a curious place to park!

Bluey was a big hit driving through Nimbin with the lights flashing and the Bluey theme song playing!

Formed up waiting to parade to the finish line... Just 3 instructions to go!

Happy esCarpadians looking forward to finishing!

This mud flap has managed to hold on to the end!

Parading!

Finished!  esCarpade 2026 done and dusted!

And then started the water fight.

Damian was taking Bluey to the finish line for photos with some Camp Quality families and companions.

Finish line was under a flight path!

And just like that, the week that was the Camp Quality esCarpade 2026 came to an end... The boys fundraising tally stands at a touch over $20K.  Thanks to everyone who donated!

Just the final dinner to go, where the start, end and mid points of the 2027 esCarpade will be announced... where will it be?  Stay tuned!

Small flooded causeway heading out from Tenterfield...

Winding road between Jiggi and Tweed Heads...

Bluey dancing at the finish line!
