This blog is all about my "Bluey" themed vehicle that I will be driving in my 15th Camp Quality esCarpade in 2026! Camp Quality's charity bash for cars 20+ yo brings positivity, fun and laughter back into the lives of kids facing cancer!
esCarpade 2026 - Day 6 - Moree to Inverell to Tenterfield
A glorious sunrise in Moree met the boys ready for day 6 of esCarpade!
Bluey was parked, waiting...
Heading to breakfast through Moree.
Parked.
Bought some coffee from the coffee van...
Damian grabbed a slice of Lions fruit cake for breakfast! (After the obligatory bacon and egg sandwich, with a sausage also!)
Another day, another driver briefing from Ben!
Heading off for the morning run...
Dave and Glenn in LUGG put in some extra effort this morning!
Always time for a father/son selfie!
This tower was almost as big as the Minecorp safety flag!
Some running repairs on 2269...
Stunt trucks ahead!
Misfits having an impromptu meeting about the Incredibles car...
Full rally-spec V8 Capri...
Stopped at the Fun Stop...
The smug face of a person who just smacked Damian in the face with a tortilla!
Lining up to get fuel, staring at Stitch's butt...
OV3 dressed as some kind of giant blue thing... any guesses?
Lunch was at the Motoring Museum in Inverell.
During lunch, Damian heard from Mad Hatters that they were on the back of OKA... Looks like their 2026 esCarpade is over prematurely.
Heading out to visit the Holy Trinity school in Inverell...
Bluey waiting in the shade for the kids to arrive...
If you look closely, you can almost see someone crying HELP ME...
Bumblebee checking under the bonnet!
And out on the road for the afternoon session. Jordan is driving, Damian is navigating!
Brief Fun Stop at the Emmaville Pub to stretch the legs...
Damian performing some percussive maintenance on the air cleaner cartridge after the very dusty section they had been through.
Fine dust in the air filter box.
Damian blowing it out... the delicious taste of red dust!
Meanwhile, 007 had a flat tyre.
Back on the road to head to Tenterfield...
Selfie time!
There were some rutted and winding dirt roads in the afternoon section...
But the boys completed the penultimate day of driving for the 2026 Camp Quality esCarpade, arriving safe and sound in Tenterfield.
A great day of driving with some awesome tracks - not too rough, but rough enough to make it interesting! As usual, Jordan got the better section for the day... ROFL.
