After an afternoon of saying g'day to other entrants and officials staying in the same location, it was time for Damian and Jordan to get tarted up ready for the driver briefing and welcome dinner!

If you ever wondered what an esCarpade driver briefing looks like, this is it!
This year there are 64 entrant vehicles and 13 official vehicles travelling almost 2500km, 59% on dirt.

After the driver briefing, the committee members and cherries (new esCarpadians) stayed behind for a bit more of a chat...
Then it was off to dinner at the Mooloolaba Surf Club.
The boys sat with new entrants Robyn and Rhonda, along with returning entrants from Team Buzz Like You.

And back to their accommodation for some beauty sleep! The first day of driving awaits the boys in the morning... whether the tracks are passable or not, who knows at this point? The boys will find out in the morning!
