esCarpade 2024 - Day 1 - Canberra to Bombala to Jindabyne

It was a chilly Canberra morning that the boys woke up to for the first day of driving for the 2024 Camp Quality esCarpade...  Note - videos at the end of this post!

Pole position at the Old Parliament House... the boys wouldn't be alone for long!

Dropping the tyre pressure to 28psi for the dirt (instead of 38psi for the highway).

Back on the road heading to Jindabyne...

Hoges ducked off to the shops, but the boys arrived safe and sound in Jindabyne!!  Day 1 done and dusted - just the dinner to go!

Stopping to fuel up, one of the locals saw the car and asked if the boys would accept a donation, and he kindly donated $20.  Generosity of heart is alive and well in this country!

Here are some videos of today's shenanigans...

The boys have had a great day 1 on esCarpade 2024... Hopefully day 2 is just as good!
