This blog is all about my "Bluey" themed vehicle that I will be driving in my 14th Camp Quality esCarpade in 2025! Camp Quality's charity bash for cars 20+ yo brings positivity, fun and laughter back into the lives of kids facing cancer!

esCarpade 2024 - Day 3 - Bright to Echuca
As always, Damian started off the morning in Bright with a photo of Bluey outside the motel room... Oh that's right, Bluey is in a holding yard awaiting transport to Echuca!
This gave the boys a chance to walk to breakfast - checking out the Ovens River - which has its own waterslide that plops down into the river!
Statue celebrating the gold rush...

Arriving at breakfast...
Some of the cars lined up...
Quick selfie with Jamie from OKA 2...
Like homeless guys waiting for a lift...
Still smiling...
The boys chariot arrives...
With Bluey already locked and loaded!
On the road to Echuca...
Bluey in the mirror...
Historical Tree! (The sign said so...)
Random sculpture... the boys reckon it's meant to be a bunch of grapes...
Some giant guy in Shepparton was keen to cheer the boys on!
Bluey stalking out the rear window...
Arty farty reflection shot...
Some of Victoria's finest outside the court building...
Stopping for a quick stretch of the legs...
Hoges trying to push the tilt-tray on!!
Echuca!
Damo and Hoges felt like this was some kind of welcome sign for them!
Nice Holden at the mechanic where Bluey is being dropped...
Unloading Bluey...
After unloading, Damian found that Bluey will definitely not be ready until Wednesday (assuming the part is correct when it arrives).
After grabbing stuff out of the boot and the car to take to the motel, Bluey said to Damian "Hey, one more thing..." BANG... Damian's shin met the towbar and bled like a stuck pig!
So Bluey is safely in Echuca at the mechanics, and a replacement transmission is meant to be on the way from Kyabram - arriving sometime later this afternoon. The boys are safely at their motel, so everything is just dandy...

But one last thing.
A massive shout out to Steve and Ingrid from
City Chicks Farmhouse Marketplace - 408 Mount Glorious Road, Samford Valley,
who upon hearing of the boys catastrophe with Bluey, very kindly paid the $500 cost of purchasing the replacement automatic transmission.
