esCarpade 2025 - Day 8 - Drive Home from Griffith

Damo and Hoges were up at stupid o'clock to make the long drive back to Queensland.

Dark to begin with... and spitting with rain.

Eventually it was a bit lighter...

Then the sun came out for a while...

Followed by more showers etc.

Lots of large machinery being moved around today...

And a car that's seen better days!

Stopped at Dubbo for fuel and to stretch the legs...

Drove through Coonabarabran... like some kind of reverse esCarpade!

Stopped for fuel and a bite to eat in Moree...

Back in Qld!

The clouds looked ominous...

Someone was copping it!

Little did the boys know, it was going to be THEM copping it while coming down the Toowoomba Bypass... total whiteout... hazards and event flashers on and crawling behind a truck until the weather cleared a bit!

Hoges dropped home... esCarpade done and dusted!

Damo also arrived home safely... Thanks to everyone for a great esCarpade, and to all our supporters (both financial and blog readers)!
