The boys woke up early in Goulburn... not too early though! 100km or so to Canberra, but first - coffee!
Goulburn is a pretty little town...
Lots of buildings that look like they might be heritage listed!
Caffeinated beverage... sweet nectar of the gods!!
Time for a quick look around Goulburn before heading to scrutineering...
On the road... still in Goulburn, and past an old church...
Past a giant merino sheep!
And on the road to Canberra...
Apparently passing under this bridge takes you from ACT back to NSW...
To scrutineering... and straight up onto the hoist... service with a smile!!
Going over (under) it with a fine-toothed comb...
All smiles, because it passed with flying colours!
Ben was there to do a complimentary firmware update on the Simple Semple tripmeter!
Damian applying yet another Camp Quality esCarpade sticker on Bluey...
Coffee and a sausage sizzle...
Seb dropped by to say g'day, but Damian failed to get a selfie... <facepalm>
Thanks to former esCarpade entrant Johnny Lange from Langes Auto Centre for making his workshop available...
Obligatory photo frame shot!
A photo of a selfie of a photo of a photo frame...
Time to go find the motel...
The motel wasn't ready (check-in was 2pm, but the boys were ready to go to the motel at 11:30am), so they headed to the Royal Australian Mint to get some cash for fuel...
These stairs are all old coins...
Operational mint doing minty things...
The old 1c and 2c pieces... they were copper... this was a large picture on the wall...
Apparently Damian is as tall as about $760 in $1 coins stacked up...
Hoges cleaning the car...
This boot looks a bit bare...
Damian was a bit unhappy about the ride height at the rear, and the boys hit the trailer plug on the driveway leaving the motel, so Damian figured the safest place for it was tucked up inside the rear bumper instead of hanging under the car...
Bluey has gone great so far <touch wood>, and the boys are safe and sound in Canberra, ready for the welcome dinner this evening then the first day of driving on Sunday!
