esCarpade 2024 - Day 5 - Echuca to Castlemaine to Ballarat

Bluey was waiting patiently at the motel, ready to hit the track again! 

But first, breakfast at the Historic Port of Echuca.

Heading off to a school visit at Echuca Primary School!

Bluey was massively popular with the children (and the teachers)!!

Then it was time to get onto the track...

Pulling into the fun stop, Bluey suddenly lost all power - no engine, no lights, no nothing!  Damian opened the bonnet and discovered that the negative terminal had disconnected... Seems that the mechanics who worked on Bluey had neglected to tighten up the terminals afterwards...

Thankfully an easy fix...  Damian's heart failure might take a bit more to fix!

The boys were happy again!

Due to an incident that blocked the track after the fun stop, the esCarpadians were turned around and followed the bitumen through to lunch in Castlemaine.

Past an old tram in Bendigo...

This is what happens when Damian turns the camera around to check if it's working...  SNAP!

And into Castlemaine for lunch!

Hard to tell from the picture, but the Avengers left front tyre is a bit how you going?  As the young people would say... "that stance!"

Hoges was driving after lunch, and Damian was navigating...

A great afternoon driving with some interesting tracks, before arriving in downtown Ballarat.  There are a few videos below for those who are interested!
